Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical tasks ensuring the community meets Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. You will respond to resident work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and oversee make-ready processes for vacant units.

The role requires EPA Type I/II or Universal certifications when applicable, own tools, and strong customer service skills. A valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must have own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; safe use of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with work orders from residents and perform routine maintenance.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and move-ins.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds and common areas.
• Inspect work by staff and contractors for quality and safety compliance.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
