Allen County War Memorial Coliseum is seeking a Residential Property Appraisal Deputy – Fieldwork to inspect homes and agricultural properties around Allen County, IN. You will measure structures, collect data, and input it into specialized software while balancing field and office work.

The role supports fair property taxation and offers a path to Indiana Level II/III Assessor-Appraiser certifications, with training provided and a mix of outdoor and desk work across seasons.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of experience in customer service, sales, data entry, or similar.
• Willingness and ability to earn Indiana Level II Assessor-Appraiser certification within 6 months (we help with this!).
• Commitment to earning Level III within 18 months after Level II.
• Experience with measuring or evaluating property is a plus.
• Solid computer skills – Microsoft Office, email, and learning specialized software.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Visit residential and agricultural properties for inspections.
• Measure buildings and yard structures to ensure accurate records.
• Compare on-site data with system and update records.
• Use CAMA GIS mapping tools and enter data.
• Explain assessments to homeowners and answer questions.
