Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; two years’ related experience.
• DLGF Level II Assessor/Appraiser certification or willingness to earn within six months.
• Knowledge of construction terminology and imaging systems.
• Strong communication and project management skills; ability to assist customers professionally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Marion County commercial/industrial property is assessed per Indiana law, DLGF rules, and IAAO standards.
• Perform quality control checks on reassessment work for accuracy.
• Read and analyze site plans and construction blueprints for commercial/industrial parcels.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to resolve assessment discrepancies.
• Access properties as required and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Schedule routing/workloads and support office and field visitors.
