Job summary

PrideGlobal is seeking a Residential Assistant Manager to collaborate with the Residence Manager in overseeing operations for the community residential program. The role involves supervising direct support staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating medical and daily care services.

The position supports residents' daily needs and longer-term plans, while assisting in staff development and quality improvement initiatives. Weekend work is required; no overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or HSE required.
• 12-18 months of related experience.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of OPWDD regulations.
• Ability to plan, organize, and implement program procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work one weekend day per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ensuring ongoing compliance and quality assurance with State and Federal regulations applicable to operation of facility.
• Provide direct supervision to direct support employees assigned to residence; participate in evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Provide service coverage per Residence Manager's schedule and cover for shortages or emerging resident needs.
• Ensure smooth operations of residence including adherence to policies, fire safety, and personnel files.
• Collaborate with Residence Manager on individualized programs and services for residents.
• Oversee medical services coordination with clinical staff, records, appointments, and referrals as needed.
• Ensure residents' basic needs are met (food, clothing, personal hygiene items).
• Assist in quality reviews of active treatment services and participation in team meetings.
