Job summary

Helping Hand seeks a compassionate Residential Supervisor to lead daily operations across our residential homes (CILAs). You will mentor Direct Support Professionals and ensure high-quality, person-centered support while upholding safety and independence for those served.

The role emphasizes coaching, shift coverage, and strong documentation practices, with CARE-driven collaboration across interdisciplinary teams and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience working with the intellectual and developmental disability population.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Residential Operations.
• Oversee daily operations of assigned residential homes (CILAs).
• Ensure individuals receive high-quality, person-centered support.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence for those we serve.
• Support emergency response procedure and ensure program compliance.
• Coach and Support Your Team.
• Supervise, mentor, and train Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and monthly supervision.
• Help foster a positive, collaborative team culture aligned with Helping Hand values.
• Coordinate Care and Program Success.
• Manage staffing schedules and provide shift coverage as needed.
• Monitor documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and individualized planning.
• Support new client transitions and program development.
• Ensure Quality and Compliance.
• Maintain regulatory standards (CARF, DHS, agency policies, etc.).
• Monitor safety practices, documentation accuracy, and program outcomes.
• Support staff development and ongoing training requirements.
