Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years management experience, plus two years direct care experience in developmental disabilities or related field; substitution by experience allowed.
• Administrative knowledge in fiscal, personnel, managerial and operational processes for supervision.
• Valid driver's license and ability to be insured; potential travel using Agency or personal vehicle.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills across varied internal/external levels.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, PMT and DDS State Medication Administration certifications.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and physically intervene as required.

Responsibilities

• Work vacant shifts and share on-call coverage bi-weekly with the Assistant Residential Manager.
• Conduct subordinates' performance appraisals and supervise staff per policy, union contract, and DDS regulations.
• Hire with supervisor/HR, ensure complete personnel data, conduct interviews, and prepare bi-weekly payroll.
• Ensure proper staffing levels and oversee trainings with corrective actions as needed.
• Manage house and consumer finances in accordance with policy and DDS regulations.
• Document emergency procedures, preventive maintenance, and vehicle maintenance monthly.
• Chair monthly staff meetings and maintain accurate minutes for review.
• Ensure licensing readiness and timely documentation for inspections; collaborate with clinical team.
• Distribute medications per DDS guidelines; maintain medication administration certification.
• Assist in transporting consumers to activities and appointments; uphold safety and dignity.
