Job summary
Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician for multifamily properties in the Metropolitan area. The role focuses on making ready apartments, addressing resident service requests, and maintaining grounds and common areas to ensure a safe, clean living environment.
The position requires basic trades skills (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting) and the ability to travel between properties. A valid driver’s license and safety awareness are essential.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of related experience
- EPA 608 - Minimum Type II and CPO certificate
- Valid driver’s license and ability to read/understand safety rules and manuals
Responsibilities
- Prepares make ready apartments with painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs.
- Responds to resident requests in a timely, professional manner.
- Maintains grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities.
- On-call scheduling may be required for after-hours emergencies.
- Reports maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor and performs scheduled maintenance.
