Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Service Technician in Gresham, OR to ensure buildings meet safety and appearance standards. You will diagnose defects, perform preventive maintenance, and complete the make-ready process for new move-ins.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, proper licenses, and a valid driver’s license for possible on-site vehicle use. Responsibilities include completing work orders, maintaining inventory, documenting work, and assisting with grounds and common areas

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal required for refrigerant recycling.
• Certifications must meet State and Local jurisdiction requirements.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary to operate golf carts on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance per policies and codes.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant homes, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Track inventory, secure materials, and notify supervisor when re-orders are needed.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and records.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
