Greystar in Portland, ME is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings meet safety and appearance standards, responding to resident requests, and completing maintenance tasks.

The role involves make-ready inspections, inventory control, documentation, and collaboration with the maintenance team. Requires EPA refrigerant certifications, valid driver's license, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications.
• All state and local certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on-property vehicles (golf cart, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Makes-ready inspections and schedules vendors for needed work.
• Tracks inventory and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas—trash pickup, cleaning, painting as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing parts when feasible.

Education
