Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of our buildings meet Greystar's standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality at properties on site in Houston area. Responsibilities include completing work orders, making units ready for leasing, inventory control, accurate documentation, and general grounds maintenance.

EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required, with benefits and potential bonuses described in the

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per policy and safety standards.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing via pre-move‑out inspections, punch list creation, vendor scheduling, and task completion.
• Obtains materials from the maintenance department, tracks inventory, and notifies management when reordering is needed.
• Documents service requests accurately and keeps records up to date for tracking.
• Maintains grounds and amenities by trash pickup, pressure washing, cleaning, and painting as required.
• Supports cost control by repairing parts rather than replacing them and using tools correctly.
