Job summary

Invitation Homes in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform high-quality maintenance in our single-family rental homes while delivering outstanding resident service. You will handle multiple trades, promote a quality living experience, and complete ProCare visits with proactive maintenance.

Requirements include 2-5+ years in residential repairs, OSHA 10, EPA HVAC certification (Type I/II/Universal) and CPO certification (pool) as a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years’ proven experience in residential repairs and maintenance.
• OSHA 10 certification required (new hires have up to 90 days to obtain).
• EPA HVAC Type I/II/Universal certification; CPO certification (pool) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service requests across multiple trades.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote a quality living experience for all residents.
• Perform work with respect for residents’ homes.
• Complete ProCare visits and proactive maintenance in residents' homes.
• Use mobile app platforms to complete checklists and schedule next visits.
• Educate residents on maintenance topics and home systems.
• Identify and report items needing attention to property management.
