Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Houston, TX to perform routine and preventive maintenance on buildings, grounds, and amenities, ensuring safety and high standards of appearance and functionality.

The role involves completing work orders, making-ready tasks for vacants, documenting processes, and supporting cost control while following safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type I/II or Universal.
• OSHA/Safety training and compliance.
• Driver's license to operate golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant apartments for leasing through make-ready inspections and punch lists.
• Tracks materials, inventories, and notifies supervisor when reordering is needed.
• Documents work completed to ensure proper service request records.
• Maintains common areas and grounds, assists in cost-control by proper use of parts.
