Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain building interiors and exteriors, ensuring safety and usability across property areas. The role emphasizes completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and documenting activities for accountability.

Responsibilities include make-ready tasks for new move-ins, inventory management, and keeping grounds and amenities clean and safe. Candidates should possess state/local certifications and a valid driver's license where required.

Qualifications

• Must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance while diagnosing defects and repairing per safety standards.
• Executes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections and scheduling tasks.
• Manages materials, tracks inventory, and coordinates with maintenance supervisor on re-ordering needs.
• Documents service requests promptly and accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing where feasible and using tools efficiently.
