Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure physical aspects of buildings meet safety, cleanliness, and functionality standards. The role includes completing work orders, make-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory management, documentation, and upkeep of grounds and amenities.

Applicants must hold EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal) or state/local certifications as required, and a valid driver’s license for on-property vehicle use.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and performing repairs per safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, and coordinating vendors.
• Maintains materials and inventory by tracking usage and notifying supervisor when re-orders are needed.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure traceability.
• Maintains grounds and common areas including cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing instead of replacing parts and using tools properly.
