Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to oversee the upkeep of a garden community with 294 units. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with rotating on-call, handling work orders, repairs, and preventative tasks to meet Greystar standards.

Responsibilities include managing make-readies, budget development for repairs, and ensuring safety and quality across grounds, exteriors, and interiors while delivering strong resident service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by state law and must be skilled in safe tool use.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to diagnose and fix problems.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively within the company.
• Proficiency in basic internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and completes make-ready process for vacant homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, and buildings.
• Periodically inspects work by team members to assess policy effectiveness.
• Periodically inspects work by contractors and vendors to ensure quality.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and coordinates supplies and tools.
• Completes monthly preventative maintenance procedures.
• Assists Community Manager with budget for repairs and capital projects.
• Supports cost-cutting and efficient use of materials and tools.
• Conducts safety meetings and ensures OSHA compliance and MSDS readiness.
• Demonstrates strong customer service when interacting with residents and team.
