Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service the interior and exterior of a garden-style community. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, assist with make-ready tasks, and ensure grounds, buildings, and common areas meet company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Experience in property maintenance or building maintenance.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by state law.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from residents and routine maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per safety standards.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, exteriors, interiors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspect work performed by staff and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and materials and assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance and support cost-control initiatives.
• Attend safety meetings and keep up to date with OSHA and safety regulations.
• Demonstrate strong customer service by addressing resident questions and concerns promptly.
