Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to oversee and perform tasks across a garden-style community. You will diagnose defects, complete work orders, and manage the make-ready process for vacant units, ensuring safety and high-quality finishes in line with Greystar standards.

You will schedule tasks, inspect vendor work, and assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects while maintaining inventory and tools for efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade.
• Knowledge and safe use of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects and routine maintenance as per policies and safety standards.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists and scheduling.
• Inspect contractor work to ensure quality and adherence to scope and budget.
