Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site maintenance professional to manage and repair 216-unit garden community. You will handle work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and support make-ready of apartments for leasing.

Responsibilities include maintaining grounds and building exteriors, coordinating with vendors, and contributing to budget and safety compliance. A high school diploma or GED and EPA certifications are required, with a valid driver’s license and tools provided by you.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and know their safe use.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance work to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings and grounds.
• Handle resident work orders and routine upkeep; diagnose defects and perform repairs.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant homes and coordinate with vendors.
• Inspect grounds, exteriors, and common areas to uphold Greystar standards.
• Maintain inventory and assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA and safety laws.
• Deliver strong customer service and respond promptly to resident requests.
