Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance professional to keep interior and exterior community spaces, amenities, and grounds in top condition. You will diagnose and repair issues, coordinate a make-ready process for new move-ins, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards across the property.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, tools, and the ability to service residents with strong customer service. A valid driver’s license and EPA certifications are preferred for HVAC-related tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools unless prohibited by state law and able to safely use tools and equipment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively to represent management and interact with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and repairing per policy and safety standards.
• Oversees and completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, vendor scheduling, supplies, and inspection of completed work.
• Inspects work by others and contractors to verify quality, scope, and compliance with standards.
• Assists Community Manager in developing budgets for repairs and capital projects and supports cost-control programs.
