Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the community’s buildings, grounds, and amenities. The role involves repairing resident-requested issues, performing make-readies for new residents, and upholding Greystar quality standards.

You will assist with preventive maintenance, manage vendor coordination, and help keep costs in check while maintaining exceptional resident service and safety compliance across all site

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must be knowledgeable and skilled in safe use of hand tools and measuring devices.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to define and correct problems.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer programs and property management systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain building systems per policy and code requirements.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Maintain grounds, exteriors, and common areas to meet high Greystar standards.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors to ensure quality and safety.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Support safety programs and compliance with OSHA and MSDS guidelines.
