Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the community. You will respond to resident work orders, diagnose defects, repair and perform routine upkeep across common areas, grounds, and interiors.

You will manage make-ready inspections for vacant units, schedule vendors, stock parts, and support budget goals. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, tool literacy, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, valid driver's

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certifications required for HVAC work.
• Valid driver’s license for on-property duties and occasional travel.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and diagnose defects for repairs following safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process to prepare vacants, schedule vendors, and inspect work.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and materials; assist budget planning.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA and related laws.
