Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work that keeps community buildings, grounds and amenities clean, safe, and functional. You will diagnose defects, repair systems, and manage the make-ready process for leasing of units.

Responsibilities include inspecting work by team members and contractors, maintaining parts inventory, completing monthly preventive tasks, and supporting cost-control efforts while delivering responsive

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and upkeep.
• Ability to diagnose and repair defects in systems and equipment.
• Experience assisting with make-ready processes and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee and complete the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas.
• Periodically inspect work by team members to ensure quality and safety policies.
• Inspect work by contractors to ensure materials meet standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools; order supplies as needed.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance procedures.
• Support cost-control by repairing instead of replacing when possible.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA and MSDS compliance.
• Provide courteous resident service and respond to complaints and inquiries.
