Job summary

Urban Genesis is seeking a Leasing Agent in Austin to manage all aspects of leasing, from tours to lease signing. You will target occupancy goals, respond to inquiries, and maintain a welcoming leasing office with up-to-date information and marketing materials.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills, with a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings as needed. Prior leasing or real estate experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing or customer service; property management/real estate is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Familiarity with property management software is a plus.
• Detail oriented and reliable with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings as needed.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Show available apartments and provide floor plan details to prospective residents.
• Generate leads through calls, emails, and advertising; assist marketing efforts.
• Manage leasing process from application to lease signing; handle paperwork.
• Follow up with prospects who toured or expressed interest.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve resident concerns professionally.
• Keep leasing office organized with up-to-date property information and materials.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to support competitive leasing strategies.
• Assist with resident relations and renewal programs to encourage long-term residency.
• Perform clerical duties like filing, tracking renewals, and maintaining resident records.
