Job summary

Omninet Capital, LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant to coordinate apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals while delivering excellent resident service and occupancy. You will interact with prospective and current residents to meet leasing goals and support property operations.

The role requires strong communication, sales aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; weekend/evening availability is expected, with adherence to company policies

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills providing for effective communication with residents.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively and sensitively communicate with all levels of management.
• Sensitivity to confidential matters is required.
• Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
• Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, fax machine, printer, copier, and key track system.
• Computer software experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook and YARDI.
• Basic understanding of Federal, State, and local Fair Housing laws.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Rent apartment homes, generate traffic, respond to inquiries, greet prospects, tour properties, qualify prospects, and close the sale by obtaining a rental application.
• Visually inspect property and model units; communicate maintenance needs to Community Manager.
• Present features and benefits; close the sale.
• Process rental applications, obtain documents, schedule move-ins and prepare lease files.
• Maintain lease files per policy and procedure.
• Record traffic sources daily and convert at least 30% to leases.
