Job summary

Omninet Capital is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Saint Louis, MO to coordinate apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals. You will engage prospective and current residents to maximize occupancy and satisfaction, while supporting the Property Manager.

The role requires strong communication and sales skills, experience in residential leasing, and the ability to work weekends/holidays as needed. Onsite work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on resident retention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of previous customer service and/or sales experience is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of previous residential leasing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rent apartment homes, generate traffic, respond to inquiries, greet prospects, tour properties, qualify prospects, and close the rental sale.
• Visually inspect the property daily for cleanliness and coordinate service needs with the Property Manager.
• Demonstrate community features and close the sale for lease renewals as needed.
• Process rental applications, obtain documents, schedule move-ins and prepare lease files.
• Maintain lease files and record traffic; convert at least 30% of traffic to leases.
• Follow up with prospects within 24 hours and perform additional follow ups.
• Assist with planning and implementation of community marketing and outreach visits.
• Assemble move-in packages and maintain competitor rate surveys.
