Job summary

ResProp Management is seeking a Leasing Leader to guide the leasing consultants, drive occupancy, and manage resident accounts. You will oversee rent postings, charges, and departure processes while supporting the property manager with month-end tasks.

The role emphasizes customer service, sales excellence, and team development. Day-to-day duties include tours, move-ins, inspections, and maintaining a clean, welcoming property environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of leasing experience in residential property management.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Tech savvy - able to learn/work with property management applications.
• Strength in Sales / Leasing / Closing / Delinquency Management / Renewal Management.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead leasing consultants by applying creative sales strategies to motivate the team and reach occupancy goals.
• Maintain resident ledgers including posting rent payments and issuing charges, concessions and final account statements.
• Initiate lease violations, late rent notices, and evictions as needed.
• Assist Property Manager with Month End accounting.
• Assist with the leasing process from tour to move-in including closing the sale and inspecting apartments.
• Support occupancy and retention goals by following up with potential and current residents.
• Build relationships with residents through timely response to needs and concerns.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by addressing service issues promptly.
• Train and develop teammates with on-the-job training and scheduling.
• Inspect the property daily for cleanliness and upkeep, including model and vacant units.
• Assist in managing client/owner relationships and communicate performance updates.
• Process move-outs by applying deposits and lease cancellations per policy.
