Job summary

ResProp Management in Dallas, TX is seeking an energetic Leasing Consultant to lead leasing efforts, drive occupancy, and deliver exceptional resident service. You will manage tour-to-move-in processes, complete lease documents, inspect apartments, and collaborate with the property team to ensure a positive move‑in experience and strong retention.

Qualifications

• At least one year of leasing experience in residential property management.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Cheerful attitude and focused on customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Tech savvy - able to learn/work with property management applications.
• Strength in Sales / Leasing / Closing / Delinquency Management / Renewal Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead leasing consultants with creative sales strategies to meet occupancy goals.
• Maintain resident ledgers including posting rent payments and charges.
• Initiate lease violations, late rent notices, and evictions as needed.
• Assist Property Manager with Month End accounting.
• Guide leasing process from tour to move-in, complete lease documents and inspect apartments.
• Understand the value of property features for prospective residents.
• Support occupancy and retention goals by following up with potential and current residents.
• Build relationships with residents through timely responses to needs and concerns.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by addressing service issues.
• Work with teammates to plan resident events.
• Train and develop teammates with on-the-job training.
• Visually inspect/prepare the property daily for cleanliness and curb appeal.
• Responsible for in-house bad debt collections.
• Assist in managing client/owner relationships by updating owners on performance.
• Process move-outs by reviewing lease terms and deposits/fees.
