Job summary

Irene Wortham Center Inc. is seeking a Residential Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a group home, supervising Direct Support Professionals, Medication Technicians and Shift Leaders across all shifts.

You will ensure client safety, regulatory compliance, and staff performance, while managing scheduling and documentation. The role requires experience in residential care, adherence to ICF/IID regulations, and a flexible, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience within a care setting.
• Knowledge of ICF/IID regulations and policies.
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Background check and health care registry required.
• Ability to train new Direct Support Professionals and supervise shifts.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Direct Support Professionals, Medication Technicians and Shift Leaders across all shifts.
• Ensure safety and well-being of clients and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain staff schedules, attendance and leave records; manage staffing coverage.
• Conduct evaluations, staff meetings and trainings, and disciplinary actions.
• Attend IPP meetings, quarterly medication reviews, and support inspections prep.
