Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in human services preferred.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a residential or group home setting.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration and documentation standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support direct care staff during assigned shifts
• Ensure proper medication administration and accurate documentation
• Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with individual service plans and house routines
• Address staff concerns, performance issues, and provide coaching as needed
• Ensure appropriate staffing coverage and report scheduling concerns
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and ensure proper reporting
• Communicate effectively with families, nurses, and management
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized home environment
• Ensure all policies, procedures, and licensing requirements are followed
