Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking a Porter/Gatekeeper at Lark Tuscaloosa in Tuscaloosa, AL to maintain common areas and assist with maintenance. This on-site role requires physical work, attention to detail and a customer-service mindset in a residential community.

Responsibilities include cleaning, lawn and landscaping tasks, lighting maintenance, minor repairs, snow removal, and safety awareness. High school diploma and 1 year of lawn/grounds experience preferred; valid driver's license required;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school and at least 1 year in lawn/grounds maintenance.
• Ability to read instructions and document labor/materials.
• Punctual, dependable, able to work under deadlines and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property common areas per SOP and safety standards.
• Perform lawn care: mowing, edging, trimming, leaves removal.
• Repair lighting and irrigation as needed and report inventory.
• Assist with general maintenance, cleaning and moving services.
• Promote safety and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
