Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a Porter/Gatekeeper at a Knoxville property to maintain common areas, assist with light maintenance, and ensure a safe, clean environment for residents and visitors.

You will follow SOPs, perform lawn and outdoor upkeep, assist with snow removal, and coordinate with supervisors. A high school diploma and 1 year of grounds experience are required, along with a valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school/GED or trade school diploma and one year of experience in lawn/grounds maintenance
• Efficient in reading instructions and documenting labor and materials
• Record of punctuality and dependability, ability to work under deadlines, and after-hours/weekend flexibility
• Possession of a valid driver's license
• Ability to stand 8 hours or longer and lift up to 100 lbs

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property according to SOPs and standards
• Perform physically demanding work to maintain the asset and common areas
• Remove trash and debris from common areas regularly
• Sweep parking areas, walkways and stairs; maintain landscaping and cleaning
• Maintain and repair exterior lighting and irrigation as needed
• Mow lawns, manage plantings and keep grounds tidy
• Assist in snow removal and seasonal tasks
• Undertake training and wear a professional uniform
