Columbia Hospitality, Inc. seeks a Residential General Manager to provide executive direction across hotel departments in Seattle.

You will lead group sales outreach, negotiations, and service, and serve as the liaison to community organizations, city officials, and PR entities. You will ensure policy implementation, participate in budgeting, set operating goals, manage pricing, and supervise staff to drive profitability and guest satisfaction.

Formación

• 5+ years progressive GM experience at a property of similar size and service level.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations.
• Strong communication skills, including drafting contracts and reports.
• Strong general management and financial management capabilities.
• Proven people management—coaching, scheduling and team development.

Responsabilidades

• Provide overall direction and leadership for all departments.
• Lead group sales outreach, negotiations, planning and service.
• Liaise with community organizations, city officials, industry associations and PR entities.
• Ensure standards, policies and procedures are implemented across departments.
• Assist in annual budgeting and financial planning to support property objectives.
• Create and monitor annual operating goals, addressing financial, guest, infrastructure, and growth drivers.
• Manage pricing policies and control operating expenses to enhance profitability.
• Prepare and distribute required reports on time.
• Protect assets through maintenance, security, emergency preparedness, and capital improvements.
• Promote the property in the local community and with industry partners.
• Hire, train, develop, schedule, discipline and counsel staff; empower teams to meet standards.
• Conduct timely performance assessments and trainings as needed.
