Job summary

FirstKey Homes, LLC seeks a Service Technician II to maintain the quality, safety, and habitability of homes managed by the company. You will complete resident maintenance requests, perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general home systems, and travel throughout the market using company tools and inventory.

You will need a strong safety mindset, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team to ensure timely, high-quality repairs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in residential construction, maintenance, and remodeling across multiple trades.
• Experience repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, appliances, and home infrastructure.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation for extensive field travel.
• Knowledge of building codes, inspections, estimates, and project planning.
• Experience reading, writing, and evaluating project specifications and scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident maintenance requests and perform repairs across multiple trades.
• Travel daily throughout the assigned market to complete service requests using company tools and inventory.
• Respond to residents in a courteous and professional manner to resolve service requests promptly.
• Prioritize maintenance requests based on urgency and impact on resident comfort and safety.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, appliances, and general building infrastructure.
