Job summary

FirstKey Homes is seeking a Service Technician II to maintain residential properties across the market. You will complete resident maintenance requests, perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general systems, and travel between properties using a company vehicle.

You will work independently and in teams, uphold safety standards, adhere to codes, and deliver courteous customer service to residents while prioritizing urgent requests and documenting work orders.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong background in residential maintenance and remodeling.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general home infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residents in a courteous and professional manner and resolve service requests.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, appliances, and general building infrastructure.
• Prioritize maintenance requests based on urgency and impact on resident comfort and safety.
• Conduct regular inspections of assigned properties to identify potential issues and preventive maintenance.
