Job summary

FirstKey Homes LLC is seeking a Service Technician II to perform maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general home systems in resident properties. You will travel throughout the market using company vehicles, handling work orders, and prioritizing tasks to ensure safety and comfort for residents.

Qualifications

• Safety & Compliance – Understanding OSHA, EPA, ADA, Fair Housing, HAZCOM, and related regulations.
• Technology & Systems – Proficient with mobile devices and maintenance software to manage work orders and document repairs.
• Building & Construction – Knowledge of residential construction, repair, and maintenance across trades.
• Mechanical Systems – Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair and maintenance.
• Preventive Maintenance – Ability to perform routine inspections and early issue detection.
• Customer Service – Focus on resident satisfaction and professional communication.
• Fleet & Equipment Management – Manage tools, vehicles, and supplies and ensure readiness.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance requests and repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general building systems.
• Travel within the assigned market to service homes using company vehicles and tools.
• Ensure all work complies with codes, regulations, and company policies.
• Identify hazards and report safety risks promptly to protect residents and staff.
• Maintain and safely operate tools and equipment, following safety protocols.
• Respond to residents promptly and professionally to resolve service requests.
• Document work orders and communicate effectively with teams and supervisors.
