Job summary

FirstKey Homes is seeking a Service Technician II to maintain and repair homes across our managed portfolio. The role covers plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance, with daily travel in the market using company tools.

You will perform preventive maintenance, document work orders, and deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA and local building codes. Evening/on-call rotations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong background in residential maintenance across multiple trades.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general home systems.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for field travel.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs in homes per company policies and codes.
• Identify hazards and report safety risks promptly.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment safely.
• Respond courteously to service requests and ensure timely resolution.
• Prioritize work by urgency and impact on safety and comfort.
• Complete service requests and document work orders in system.
• Travel daily within assigned market using company vehicle.
