Job summary

D.R. Horton is seeking a Superintendent to manage multiple home construction sites from permit to closing, coordinating subcontractors, inspections, and homeowner walkthroughs. You will ensure schedules meet quality standards and budgets while maintaining safety.

The role emphasizes customer service, communication with sales and warranty teams, and adherence to company construction standards. A valid driver's license and ability to travel between communities are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Two to four years related experience in construction or site management.

• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, specs and scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule to deliver high-quality homes on time and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors for each construction phase and ensure code compliance.
• Oversee post-close warranty activities and homeowner communications.
• Ensure site cleanliness and safety across multiple communities.
• Halt noncompliant work and authorize payments when standards are met.
