D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to manage multiple home construction sites from permit to closing.

You will schedule and supervise subcontractors, ensure quality and compliance with codes, and maintain the customer experience throughout the build process. You will coordinate with sales, warranty, and management teams to keep projects on time and within budget while upholding safety standards. A high school diploma and construction experience are required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years related construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• General knowledge of municipal permitting, regulations and building codes.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive among communities.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Proficiency with DRH Construction applications on mobile devices.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the construction schedule to deliver the highest quality product on time and within budget.
• Schedule subcontractors for each phase and ensure work complies with codes and standards.
• Complete each home site from planning through occupancy, satisfying all contract obligations.
• Inspect subcontractor workmanship and halt noncompliant work until corrected.
• Authorize subcontractor payments after inspection and acceptance of materials.
• Oversee the customer experience throughout construction, including homeowner orientations and progress communications.
• Maintain site cleanliness and safety, and manage post‑close warranty activities.
• Collaborate with sales, warranty, and management to ensure open communication and proactive issue resolution.
• Be prepared to work additional hours to meet business needs.
