Job summary

D.R. Horton is seeking a Superintendent to manage all functions of the job site from permit to closing, coordinating multiple homes and supervising subcontractors to deliver quality, on-time projects.

You will conduct homeowner walkthroughs, inspections, and ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards while maintaining strong communication with the sales and warranty teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two to four years related experience preferred.
• Must read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction schedule and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Evaluate subcontractor work for quality and compliance with codes.
• Complete each home site from planning through occupancy.
• Authorize payments to subcontractors after inspection and acceptance.
• Ensure strong customer communications and address homeowner concerns.
