Astound is seeking a Broadband Technician I in Texas to perform residential installs and disconnects on customer premises, ensuring RF and signal levels meet specifications for a positive service experience.

You will educate customers about our broadband products and services, identify upsell opportunities, and maintain clear communication with leadership and dispatch to keep routes productive while prioritizing safety and time management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–0 years of experience (entry level).
• Maintain satisfactory driving record and have a valid driver\'s license.
• Knowledge of Ladder; Hand or Power Tools.
• Customer Service Communication (verbal, written).
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Aptitude to learn to skills.
• Problem solving.

• Working alone.

Responsibilities

• Performs residential installs and disconnects on customer premises according to organizational standards and specs.
• Provide a positive customer experience by ensuring RF and signal levels within specifications before completion, reducing repeat calls and truck rolls due to errors.
• Maintain appropriate levels of communication with leadership and dispatch, ensuring a highly productive route while sustaining performance metrics, safety and time management.
• Provide customer education on products and services, including potential upsell opportunities to increase customer satisfaction.
• Operate company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
