Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a transportation assistant to provide safe, courteous rides for residents to medical appointments and activities. You will assist with loading, securement of wheelchairs, and maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a High School diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. CNA or caregiver training is preferred, with flexibility to accommodate late resident appointments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• No major traffic offenses in last 7 years.
• Completion of CNA or Caregiver training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with loading/unloading into community-approved vehicles.
• Provide safe transportation to medical appointments and activities.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs.
• Adhere to safety protocols during transfers and driving.
