Job summary

PACS is seeking a Transportation Aide to provide patient transport within the community. You will assist residents with transfers, ensure safety during rides, and maintain vehicle readiness for daily use.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required; clean driving record preferred.
• Familiar with GPS and local driving area.
• No traffic crimes in the last 7 years; limited moving violations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with loading and unloading from community-approved vehicles.
• Ensure safe transportation to medical appointments and activities.
• Maintain interior and exterior of vehicles for safety and comfort.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance logs and arrange regular maintenance.
• Be flexible with work time to accommodate late appointments.
• Perform safe patient transfer techniques and mobility assistance.
