Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a driver/transport aide to assist residents with loading, unloading, and safe transport to scheduled appointments and activities. The role requires CNA training, a valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds. You will monitor vehicle upkeep and support a positive community image.

Flexibility with work time and the ability to handle complex decisions for highly dependent residents are essential. GPS familiarity and CE maintenance are also required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or a GED.
• Must have a valid DL.
• Must be familiar with GPS and local driving area.
• No Traffic Crimes in the last 7 years.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must have successfully completed CNA training and maintain all CE to maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with loading and unloading from facility approved vehicles.
• Ensure safe transportation to medical appointments and activities.
• Maintain vehicle interior and exterior for safety and image.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance logs and arrange regular maintenance.
• Demonstrate safe transfer techniques and assist in moving residents up to 75 pounds.
