Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a dedicated transport assistant to help residents get to medical appointments and activities in a safe, caring manner. You will assist with loading/unloading, maintain vehicle cleanliness and logs, and support transfer processes using proper techniques.

The role requires CNA training, a valid driver’s license, familiarity with GPS, and a clean driving history. Flexibility with hours is essential to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age 25 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Familiar with GPS and local driving area.
• Clean driving record: no traffic crimes in last 7 years.
• Drug screen and background check required.
• CNA training completed and CE maintained for certification.
• Must be able to lift and mobilize up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, and understand job instructions.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with loading and unloading from facility vehicles.
• Transport residents to medical appointments and approved activities.
• Maintain and monitor vehicle condition and maintenance logs.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Safely secure residents in vans and assist transfers using proper techniques.
