Job summary

Eden Housing, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Community Manager in daily operations of housing communities serving low-income families, seniors, and other eligible residents.

The role includes administrative tasks, resident interaction, rent processing, and coordination of maintenance and compliance. Responsibilities include processing applications, maintaining resident records, and ensuring policy compliance across HUD programs.

Qualifications

• 6 months clerical/office experience or related training.
• Typing at least 40 wpm, accurate data entry.
• General understanding of preventive and ongoing apartment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Order office supplies and schedule maintenance repairs.
• Assist in resident move-in/out procedures and unit inspections.
• Maintain wait list and process applications per EHMI policies.
• Collect rent and perform daily deposits as needed.
• Answer phones and manage office communications.
• Prepare recertifications and maintain resident records.
• Ensure compliance with HUD/CHFA/RHCP/TCAC rules.
