Job summary

Mosaic is seeking an Associate Direct Support Manager in Connecticut to help oversee residential and day services programs. You will coordinate activities, document progress, maintain facilities, and assist with meal preparation to support individuals in daily living.

The role focuses on health and safety, regulatory compliance, staff scheduling, and hands-on support, including medication administration and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in medication administration, CPR and first aid (can obtain after hire).
• Minimum of one year experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and safety of all individuals served and ensure living environments and programs comply with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with managing operations of residential or day services programs, including coordinating activities and scheduling staff.
• Perform miscellaneous duties such as covering staff shortages, administering medications, and participating in individual program planning teams.
• Assist in planning and preparation of meals and snacks following diet orders and kitchen sanitation procedures.
• Support people served to identify and achieve personal outcomes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of activities and developmental progress.
• Intervene when aggressive or inappropriate behavior occurs, implementing behavior programs and strategies as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation, including activity records and developmental progress.
• Handle house petty cash and individual finances, including purchasing groceries or supplies.
• Oversee maintenance of residential facilities and transportation vehicles.
