Job summary

Mosaic in New Haven, CT is seeking a Direct Support Supervisor to coordinate program operations and ensure regulatory compliance. You will hire, train, schedule staff, coordinate activities and maintain records for individuals served.

The role requires a passion to serve others, strong attention to detail, and hands-on operations management. CPR and medication administration certifications or willingness to obtain are required or encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the integration of individuals into the community by accompanying them to recreational and social activities
• Monitor the comfort and safety of individuals by ensuring living environments and program activities meet safety and regulatory requirements
• Intervene when aggressive or inappropriate behavior occurs to implement behavior plans and strategies
• Provide on-call support to staff during emergencies and locate staff to fill shifts when necessary
