Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification in medication administration, CPR and first aid - can be obtained after hire.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health and safety of individuals served and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with operations of residential or day services programs; coordinate activities and staff.
• Cover staff shortages and administer medications as needed.
• Assist in planning meals, follow diet orders and kitchen sanitation procedures.
• Support individuals to identify personal outcomes and maintain progress documentation.
• Maintain detailed records of activities and developmental progress.
• Intervene in aggressive or inappropriate behavior with appropriate strategies.
• Maintain electronic documentation of activity records and progress.
• Handle house petty cash and purchasing needs.
• Oversee maintenance of residential facilities and transportation vehicles.
