Job summary

Atlantic Pacific Companies seeks a Resident Service Coordinator/Leasing Consultant for The Studio at ThinkEast, a 181-unit affordable housing community in Austin, TX. This full-time role handles leasing, tenant support, and coordination of services under HUD/LIHTC guidelines.

You will meet with prospective tenants, guide them through lease terms, collect deposits, and promote the property while collaborating with management to ensure compliance and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 1–2 years related experience in residential services, customer service, or sales.
• 1 year of LIHTC/Affordable housing experience.
• Experience in marketing, sales, and customer service.
• Experience with Bluemoon, YieldStar and Onsite or Yardi (CRM, Voyager, P2P) required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Cover leasing office on weekend shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and provide leasing information; schedule tours.
• Welcome prospects; explain the application process; prepare move-in packets.
• Explain documents and policies (gate cards, lease, policies) for HUD/LIHTC compliance.
• Walk new residents through move-in inventory and obtain signatures.
• Assist with resident service requests and concerns.
• Prepare and deliver community and resident letters with Manager approval.
• Ensure proper screening of applications; sign leases and collect fees and rents.
• Maintain neat office and follow-up on work orders.
