Job summary

Advocates is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to supervise residents and Direct Care Staff, coordinate schedules and daily activities, and ensure proper documentation. The role supports program participants, collaborates with staff, and helps manage daily operations of the house under supervision.

The ideal candidate will participate in care activities, assist with medications, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and participant-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree or 1 year related experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks.
• Must have basic computer knowledge.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively identify goals and objectives with program participants and develop individualized goals.
• Assist with writing service plans and ensure implementation.
• Help participants take medications and develop community living skills.
• Assist with staff scheduling to ensure program coverage and budgetary compliance.
• Actively participate in program participant, family, team and staff meetings.
• Complete all documentation and incident reports per funder requirements.
• Supervise and assist in coordinating program activities.
